I don't use psychedelics, but I used to smoke a lot of weed back in my wayward youth and it's definitely an interesting experience. I wouldn't recommend Vitalogy on anything though, that album is scary as fuck when high.

Thank you. And just for the record I'm not some 19 tr old who does nothing but get high, lol. Drugs aren't bad per se, drugs are dangerous.
At that point I'd estimate 17,500 feet. But seriously tho that album has always been my favourite but since the other night I kinda wanna know about No Code. That same night I also noticed there was another thread about drugs Ed was using so i posted a few comments there too(which may and or may not offend). I'm almost half convinced that Ed did hide a message in there, lol. Just kidding about the half convinced tho I'm SURE of it. LOL
psychedelics can create a better experience with music? NOR-WAY!
And when that music is Pearl Jam's No Code it's fantastic as all heck. Red Mosquito was intense, lol. playing in on LP was perfect too, cuz i had to wander a lil and let what i was hearing and experiencing sink in after Off He Goes before flippin 'er over.

anyone who has poked even a little fun at the original poster (and that includes myself) would do well to remember that listening to no code while tripping/high/whatever is some intense shit

Any music will sound heightened and more full and textured while using psychedelic drugs. But I agree that No Code is certainly an ambient album that would probably be very satisfying to listen to in such a state of mind.
I think that listening to music while in an altered state of consciousness can feel almost as if you are wearing the music and are piercing into the inner echelons of the songs, especially if you wear headphones.
I've tripped 10 or so times and I think that either music or the sounds of nature are very appropriate. I think that level headed drug use, in moderation, is
But also, as I've heard said, use everything in moderation, including moderation. haha
