im on this site alot dont post much this is a post for all the fans that like pearl jam i see so may people dissing the band i love GOT SOME very excited about the new album and the new songs that ive heared so far i personnaly think all there albums are great and find it really hard to find a best i just think they are consistant in bring out great music lets stop all the bitching about one of the greatest rock band of are time and in my opion the best rock singer of all time....peace....bring on the FIXER

TBH, bar the odd troll, most of the people here don't say they hate the band. In fact, I'd imagine most of the negative comments come from those who disliked Avocado (and repeat it ad nauseam).

When I bitch about avocado it should be taken in context. Sure, the album disappointed me and the production is pretty bad, but my overall negative rating of the album is only relative to other pearl jam albums.

Chuds right about the context..it's broadly felt they let themselves down with the last record & any bitching you se will probably be based in that, but again, we're human..there will always be people will tear strips off them no matter what they do. you just gotta sift through it, ignore that chaff and consider the criticisms that are well amde and have thought behind them. RM is great for that, mostly any complaining you see as in the threads about the new songs is just joking. We haven't heard it yet so how can anyone say Metallicas Fixxer is better than Pjs? it's just someone taking the piss...
they are and hopefully always will be a really great band.

I was just on another band's message board and everyone over there is complaining and bitching about this and that.
What can you do? Its the fucking internet and if you're that passionate about music, chances are you want to discuss and critique it with other fans. It'd suck if every post was about how in love everyone was with EVERYTHING the band has ever done.
