Pearl Jam and the Ten Club announce Bootleg program for 2009 08.07.09
Pearl Jam's official website (http://www.pearljam.com) will be the exclusive distributor for live bootleg recordings from their upcoming tour in support of their 9th studio album "Backspacer".
Shows will be available in three formats- MP3, flac and Burn-on-Demand Compact Discs.
Shows will be mixed and mastered and available within weeks of the show date.

To be fair, they never said WHY they didn't do Euro boots on the last tour, nor did they announce that they never would again.

Good point, B. It's not like PJ has some type of official anti-Europe boot policy. They just didn't do them in '07, that's all. Probably b/c there was no new material and they were mainly playing festivals.

and?? there was no new material last year either but they released those... and we'd kill to get official boots of Munich, London, Nijmegen and Copenhagen which were each at least as good shows than any last year!

which I would call dumb! They could have at least released them last year once they had the system for the US ones in place.

??? they record everything the same way, whether they release it or not. There was the audience mics on the stage same as the previous year when they DID release the boots..

Would be nice if you could buy individual tracks like iTunes. I'd buy all the Backspacer songs if they would sell them pre-album release. Not likely though.
