i'm never using ebay again. I never had until now but cos I used the keep it simple option when building the pages, I didnt get an opportunity to use the reserve price function, now 2 posters have sold and im not letting them go cos they're lower than their EB averages which is what I was happy to let em go for. And now i'm in a shit storm over it. Fuck!

See I was told to set the askin price at like a cent or something! i didnt and went for around $20 each..now i'm being completely abused! I told 2 of them i'll give it to them at the price they bought it cos i feel shitty about makin the mistake but the other two are abuse-a-rama! threatning to get legal and all kindsa stuff! I did say here and on the pit and EB i was looking for the EB average price but it didnt present me with the option on ebay...lesson learned..never again! ill give em away to randall far quicker than this kinda nonsense! i was over the poster thing a few months ago having gotten all the ones i was ever gonna frame, and decided to get these to people who really wanted them, but man are they over the top..the internet is a multiedged sword no doubt about it..

Did Tron not sell or you pulled the auction. I would have bought it for $10....even $30. I am all about deals and that was crazy to not even get a bid. Granted, you also have 0 feedback which makes people leery.

Got negative feedback now..gonna honour it&just give em to them at whatever they bought them for..taking a serious bath on this..big blow to the tour fund..

I need one for me and one for my future wife. Until I find her, I will keep one above my computer desk and the other above my fireplace.

Yeah man, I turned to them after losing an Ebay auction on a Canada 2005 a/p. What a waste of time that was. Message Pit people complain about RMers being assholes - they should start a thread over at BRY and see what assholery is all about.

Oh i'm sorry to hear about your ebay "problem"... It seems like a lot of sellers have two accounts just to inflate prices, maybe the real value of the those posters is THAT low; a regular guy playing by the rules on ebay will not get anywhere, i did exactly what you did, i tried to sale a few posters on ebay, normally those poster are sold on ebay for a lot more but just because i play by the rules at the end eveything had very different prices that the "average prices", next time star with the price you think is right and don't get too greedy thinking that you're going to get beyond "average" (or even average) price of EB on ebay.
good luck next time (if there's one )

Seriously. I've an image of a buncha Comic Book Guy characters from the Simpsons..I've gone there with stuff that I know someone will want and still they're assholes. No right way to approach them..horrendous altogether..Give the Pj fan community a really really bad name.
Arq-yeah I definitely didn't read the fine print at all! they definitely have to simplify ebay, they arent forthcoming about telling you about their fees either..won't be using ebay again no way no how.

Is anyone else doing the poster presale for this tour? I just got a Chicago I myself; to me the shipping is more than worth it to avoid the hassle of not only getting the poster but keeping it safe until I can store it at home.

this is one of the few times I regret not being a 10c member.
I'm on the Artillery mailing list, and will be losing my mind hitting "refesh" on the morning posters go on sale. I'll come out and say it to you guys now: I will pay reasonable markup to any of you RMers who want to unload a Toronto a/p. Regardless of whether the thing sucks or not.
