Not sure if this has been posted yet but I wasn't going to fish through 30-odd pages o' bitchin to find out.

The 'tape player' on the tenclub website is playing a much better quality version of The Fixer.

I'm sure some kind soul with mad rippin skills will post a sendspace file for us all to download soon

I'm not sure if it's just because I'm use to it, but the vocal seems to mix in much better with the track on this.

AWESOME!!!!

This version is clearly 10x better and sounds f'n great! Awesome mix. The band is rolling. Ed sounds charged. Matt/Jeff are a monster. And you can really hear all the small, rad studio add-ons.

God, does this song sound good!

Having it come at No. 3 on the LP, after "Got Some," should be perfect.

I think the fadeout's even better. (Nothing wrong w/ a good pop-radio fadeout -- see: "Corduroy".)

Note to all the haters: Forming a rushed opinion from a crappy 128k stream off a myspace player probably isn't the best platform on which to shout and whine. The new version in the 10c player proves it.
