I hated Joseph Gordon Levitt as a kid actor but he's really impressed me as an adult. I'm sure I'll check it out eventually.

GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

Reeallly enjoyed it. Great great acting.

Funny. Clever. A little touching, but not too...

And one of the best scenes EVER...I mean EVER (you'll know it when you see it).

I liked this movie. Other people should go see it as they will probably like it too.

The only thing I didn't like was the narration because it sounded too much like that 'movie guy' voice. I keep expecting him say to something like "what if she was robot designed to kill humanity? And what if Tom had to kill what he loved most to save to us all? (**Requiem for a Dream theme music starts**) From acclaimed director Michael Bay..."

it was very similar to annie hall and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, but i'd say a step below it. but similar in that the episodic exploration of a relationship as it comes together and falls apart.

I'd put it below those two movies as well, mostly because those two are pitch perfect in every way. Some people are calling it "this generation's Annie Hall" but that's stupid. Annie Hall will always be every generation's Annie Hall; it's timeless. BUT, I really, really liked 500 Days of Summer and I think it holds up as it's own thing.

Well, since there's been 2 of you who don't know what I meant, maybe I'm overrating it a bit, but the fantasy sequence - the strut, the handshakes, the band, the bird!! - I found that to be one of the best mixes of humor and joy in a single scene ever (but maybe it kinda hit me juuust right...) And I heard that scene described on Fresh Air by the director before I saw it, so I was eagerly anticipating it...

I was impressed with that scene, because that's territory where it could have lost me, but it was done in good taste.
