I read that shit about having to be a paying 10C member for the pj.com forums and then I donated $5 here.

sure! I was referring to the % though, as in 15% of 100. Though it looks like it's jumped like double in a day. You'll be to the goal in no time, right?

We used to get the whole $120 in a day.
Oh, and your posts are only at .02%.

fair enough, considering you actually have over 25k posts. That is a competition i would never want to be a part of.

So who is it exactly that foots the bill when the goal is not reached?
Has PJ ever offered or have you solicited PJ for assistance?
it is a private site, owned and operated by Green Habit (previously Hinny and Buggy had both paid for it I believe). When donations are short he makes up the difference.
As far as I know the band has never offered to subsidize it. It's too bad. For the most part we're pretty solicitious of their wishes regarding what we make available, and sites like this perform a really valuable service for the band, keeping fan interest strong and a communtiy alive in between records and tours. PJ doesn't need us now, but in a year from now I do think places like RM are invaluable for sustaining interest.

RM should start a strike. Every single member stops going to show, buying albums/posters/t-shirts, all that stuff. That would teach them. Actually you just have to convince Jared to stop buying records and that should hurt them badly enough.

I agree that this is a valuable tool for them and that is why I asked if the 10CL has ever offered or if you had asked them for help in the past. Though I am sure there are many things on here that they would not want to be associated with.... They could contribute as an annonymous donor though.
