What I meant when he's singing right at the beginning it sounds like it could be REALLY cheesy, but as I listen to some of the music further in the clip it sounds like it might be REALLY cool. I just can't tell which will manifest more throughout the whole song.

One thing that songs like this and "The Fixer" prove: their not afraid to put catchy songs on their albums anymore, as was the case with Sad. Which, imo, is a very good thing.
As for this song, it sounds pretty awesoeme to me. It's got a 50s rockabilly kind of melody to it that I'm totally digging.

Definitely see the Cars connect, but I also hear Ramones. It's your Classic Pearl Jam pop, punk, rock mash-up. Never my favorite PJ tunes but some have been quite good. I like what I hear so far on this song - tis better than a 30 second clip of Big Wave.

Wow wasn't really expecting this. It's kind of completely different to The Fixer, and completely different to anything else they've done. I didn't immediately think, 'this sounds cool', like with Amongst The Waves but I will reserve my judgement for the real thing.

I'm surprised yet again by the poppy and upbeat nature of the song (speaking musically mostly since I couldn't tell too much of the lyrics). I have no way of knowing how I'll react to it all when I hear it in its entirety, but the curiosity is definitely helping to raise my interest level.
It will be very interesting to see how some of these songs fit into the setlists.
