I find this extremely hard to believe.

It's like Chinese Whispers - some guy on the Pit posts "OMG how awesome wud it be if Soundgarden opened in Philly?!", another guy reads it and tells his friends "yo peeps, I read there's a rumour Soundgarden are going to open in Philly!", those guys tell their friends who tell their friends and then eventually it works its way back onto the original message board - "hey, my friend heard from a guy that Soundgarden are going to open in Philly!" - which is then used as basis for confirmation of the original rumour.

I was a longtime member of BRY until recently when I moved to RM.

There has actually been a lot of reunion buzz floating around in the last couple of months.

Whereas Cornell used to flatly deny any interest in such a thing, he told Rolling Stone back in April "You never know..."

Perhaps experiencing the depths of irrelevance with his Scream project shocked Chris back into reality.

I personally don't think his voice could hold up for a reunion, but I would definitely go to a show.

I don't think PJ would wanna become 2nd fiddle at their own shows.

I don't think Soundgarden would wanna open for a PJ for their big comeback.

I think the guys in PJ probably respect the SG guys too much to even ask.

Sure it's a bit more likely for various reasons, I just don't see it happening.
