i'm sorry, but if i were an nfl owner i would be embarassed to sign his sorry ass. i played football for 14 years of my life and i never thought i'd say somebody needs to be cheap shotted, but michael vick deserves it. total piece of shit.

i go in the bathroom to shave for 10 minutes, i get back to my room and have 17 missed calls and texts about this. i'm fuckin confused. i know kolb is hurt, but i thought he was out just a few weeks. i mean we could use him in the wildcat, but 90% of teams could too. this just really caught me by surprised, im still in shock.

i'm talking about to me. he plays football for the team I love. do that well, and I don't care what you do. i mean, he's no different than any other person involved in dog fighting. is he a fucked up guy? sure. does he play football well? u bet your sweet ass he does. and that's what I care about.
I'm not one of his friends who is disappointed in a decision he made. i could care less what good things he does in his spare time, and what bad things he does. he's no more important than any other dog fighting fan. just do well on the field, and that's all I care about from him, as a person. and the same goes for any other athlete.
they're good at sports. and sports are fun to watch. I can't make people's decisions for them. just do well, and I will cheer you on.

Mike Vick is a heckuva an athelete but a football player? He will give you some exciting plays but just enough to tease. And remember this; he absolutely quit on the Falcons at the end of the season both in '05 and '06.

This is what I find so depressing. Apparently for so many fans it literally is "anything to win".
I take it that even if he was drunk driving and killed somebody, but just got off on a manslaughter charge and served like 2-3 years, when he got out you'd still have the same attitude?

I'm not the one running the judicial system here. But if, let's say, it was Torry Holt circa 2000, and he just got out of that jail sentence you are hypothetically suggesting (a la Stallworth), and that was the ruling given by the judge, I'm not gonna be the one who says he can't play for my team. I mean, it's like saying, "I don't want anyone who has ever committed a felony to be given a second chance again."
It's not much different than a guy who works at let's say Coca-Cola, and he commits manslaughter the same way *Torry Holt* did. Are you about to deprive the guy from the opportunity to work at another legitimate company for the rest of his life?
I'd hope not, but then again, who knows?
"Judge not, lest ye be judged."
And who is to say a person does not deserve a second chance? Not me. I don't think anyone can really.

I just think there are some crimes where the person doesn't deserve a second chance. I personally feel someone convicted of rape should be given the death penalty.
But even aside from my feelings of him playing at all, I'm still absolutely stunned the Eagles signed him, given what they've always "stood for", if you will.
