It's amazing how much the coverage revolves around Tiger. If he had teed off earlier in the day, it would be on already.
Not necessarily true. He played in the morning yesterday and all but his last two holes weren't televised. His monstrous Friday round two weeks ago was also not televised because he was playing in the morning.

As far as ratings go he IS Televised GOLF right now. Ratings go up over 100% when he is winning on sunday.
Most of the world could care less about golf but they tune in for Tiger. He is essentially responsible right now for all the ancillary income anyone on the tour makes.
Hell the salaries of people that work on the golf channel practically go through him too.

True statement. Random fact: Since the start of the '06 tour Tiger has a better winning percentage than 10 MLB teams.

I was not aware of that. Garth, were you aware of that?

My money's on Y.E.Yang. He's been playing pretty sweet recently, he'll probably beat Tiger by about 3. Harrington will be there on the final day, but that 8th looks a bastard, he might dump it in the water and score an 8.

If you're not a Tiger fan you probably shouldn't tune in this weekend. I think he may win this by 6 or 7. He's on his game right now. I'm hoping that Singh and Harrington make it a tournament however. Harrington's bunker shot on the 15th was absolutely insane.

I've been watching golf for about 35 years...that is easily a top 10 all time shot..

It's just too bad he missed the eagle putt. I think his miss diminished the approach shot a little, but still, wow.

glad Woods didn't extend his lead. Set up for a decent final day. Hopefully Harrington can put some more pressure on. Pity he bogeyed the 18th.
Same. If it was Tiger by 6, I wouldn't turn it on until 18 to see him celebrate.
Shame Paddy has bogeyed 18 twice (maybe 3?) days in a row. But then again, Tiger missed a short birdie on 18 too.
I am in danger of losing all three bets this week....had Paddy to win his group in the first round and when he finishes the day 2nd overall, you'd have to think I'd be cashing in. But some guy called Eldrick....bastard. Also had a bet on there to be a hole in one (had no hole in one at British and Thomas Levet screwed me) and the lowest single round to be -6 or -7 (Ross Fisher bogeying 17,18 to miss out and also a couple of others blew it too).

It's going to be fun to watch Tiger next year. This tournament may give him motivation for years to come. Yang really was stroking it today. That chip in was incredible.
