Wow. He looks like he's about to cry. I can't blame him. I probably would too if I were that dumb.

That was awesome. Maybe if he hadn't come off like such a cocky douche I'd feel a bit more sorry for him.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but $1million all the way to $25k? That doesn't seem right.

And if he wasn't going to end up making about 100 times more money than me during his lifetime

I think he's being referred to as a retard for risking $475,000 on a question he wasn't sure about. Not because he didn't know the answer.

before the answers came up I guessed it would be some sort of alcohol. guess that would've been Kennedy, not LBJ.

Was 25k always the highest save point? I could have sworn it used to be 100k.

it used to be 64 or 32 I thought.

The reason it's different is that it's been modified while in syndication. Same reason they have categories each question is in and an extra lifeline now.

Even more retarded than incorrectly guessing and losing tons of money is preferring Regis to Alex Trebek.

It was Fresca, btw. LBJ was a freak for the stuff.

I never in a million years would have guessed that right. If you're not sure, you've got to just take the money and run. Such a bad decision. I'd love to play poker with this guy, he'd get his money in bad A LOT.

Simple math tells him to fold here and take the 500K. He's guessing, and will be right 1-in-4 times. 3 out of 4 times he's losing 475K and one out of four times he's making 500k. If he had the 50-50 (which I think they eliminated), then maybe it becomes a good play then, but this is just such a horrible decision.

And Yoohoo? really? When I saw the question, that was the one I automatically eliminated. I never would have figured Fresca though, probably because I think of Caddyshack every time it is mentioned.
