I love Philip Glass (and the Solo Piano album in particular), and I couldn't believe my ears last year at Bonnaroo when it started up. I think it's perfect.

I said to a buddy of mine while we were in Berlin listening to this, that PJ really should take a shot at listening to some Ludovico Einaudi. Einaudi is such a great pianist and the vibe he creates is similar to this piece by Glass, but much much better imho.

I've only heard Divenire, and yeah it's great.

the melody is carried on the chords right from the beginning and is a different melody. obviously the same idea with the arppegiated chords and tempo. but it didn''t originate with Glass either so...
