CNN's already running their life recap. Fox and MSNBC haven't put anything on yet it seems.

So who's ready for his death to be shamelessly paraded around as a propaganda tool to push the "government option."

everyones gotten drunk and driven a car with other passengers. some of us have even crashed the car. i dont think manslaughter and reckless driving is acceptable, and he probably should have been penalized more, but he's also done a lot of good deeds as a politician.

yeah, I gotta agree, not everyone in this world drinks and then drives. Some people actually do have designated drivers or just walk...take a cab...sleep over.

of course the Chairman is going to want to do reform in the name of the "great" Ted Kennedy. They will politicize his death. His great accomplishments of driving up budgets and increasing bureaucracy is really something to be proud of.

It's unfortunate that some people's standards by which they hold one another, let alone a Congressman, is so low, that it's acceptable to drink and drive. And, when you KILL someone...well....at least you "do good things." That's horseshit. Whoever feels that way should be ashamed of themself.

At least Ted Kennedy spent his entire life trying to pass universal healthcare, so it's not purely political. It was ACTUALLY his dying wish.

Peace, Teddy. The 20th century officially comes to an end. :peace:

Ironic.

While benefitting immensely at the hand of private health insuranse with a brain tumor, Ted Kennedy's last wish was to condemn 90% of the population to a much faster and gauranteed death under his government healthcare plan.

Would anybody even faintly suggest that a patient under the "government option" would have been able to recieve the amazing care that Kennedy was able to benefit from?
