What's getting you through the wait for the album and/or leak or the album?
is there records you are listening to by the band or other bands? sporting activities? fantasy leagues? drowning your sorrows in food?
I've been listening to No Code and Yield a lot, as well as the new As Tall As Lions record "You Can't Take It With You", and trying not to hate myself too much for being a Giants fan after they went in to Colorado and lost 3 of 4 when it could have been the other way around.

writing, but lately I've been hitting this place... so... that's probably bad.
But the closer the album gets, the happier this forum seems to be and i don't ever remember that happening. I honestly to not. I remember there was less bickering right before a release, but people are far more mellow this time.
Do you think the fact that the album is upbeat has had an effect? What's making the difference? The 30 second snippet leak? Is there some overall agreement this might be a great record so we are being more kind? WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH PEARL JAM'S FANS?

ah heard The Fixer and not as excited anymore. Still looking forward but not in the same way I was before. Supersonic helped but not a ton. Got Some had me real excited at one point though. Hopefully that album performance is as good as the Conan one.

the two shows in Chicago and 4 upcoming NIN shows help too. plus there is a ton of music out there. while I'm excited, one album doesnt evoke that "I need it now" feeling that it did 10 years ago.
