I usually use my Ipod on my home computer, but it caught a virus and I haven't had to time to fix it. So right now i'm using a different computer and need to put an album n my Ipod, but this new computer won't register that the ipod is plugged in. Please help. Thank you very much in advance

That's Apple for you.
But ok. If you find your itunes library file on the other computer and copy that over to your new one, itunes will load the old library that is synced with your ipod.
Of course if you want to have it detect and play your old music you have to have it in the same location.
So if you had a song located in C:\Users\YourNameHere\Music\BandName\AlbumName on the old computer it has to be located in the same directory on your new computer. You can also tell itunes where to find the file for each song manually but it is best to just copy everything to the same locations to save time.
