pretty shitty at times. seems to have coincided with the addition of a new poster (at least one i hadn't seen post around here much) and the return of another one. not surprisingly, on opposite sides of the political spectrum. well figured making a semi off topic topic couldnt really hurt. yadda yadda a bit of moddin on it. night everyone.

Spoiler: show
this could've been done via pm

what's new. same thing happened when the LW clone was trolling for a while. people were too busy laughing at that to discuss stuff.

although I must say N&D is much more entertaining when it is busy like this

As a long time N&D lurker, I have to agree.

again, when someone disagrees with one of you libs...it's all about provoking. trying to "incite" things....

maybe I see few people standing up for what I believe in, and just couldn't falls asleep so decided to post more than normal. It certainly won't happen very often, I'm too busy.

there's debating, and then there's hyperventilating. name-calling and employing recycled talking points - sensationalized ones, at that - to rebut the points of liberal posters on this board is hardly "standing up" for what you believe. a little self-awareness goes a loooooong way, friend.

as it is, this place seems to be in a bit of a trough lately. things are cyclical, and i'll be back when it starts again to crest.

if someone/something isn't providing 1.) lulz, or 2.) insight, it isn't really worth my time. would you describe Aliveguy's contributions as insightful? they're certainly unintentionally hilarious, but better lulz can be had elsewhere on the interwire.

the Pearl Jam section on the other hand is much more active at the moment.. couldn't there be correlation?
more things to discuss/read about PJ, less time to talk about the rest.
I know it is true for me anyway.
