This was a triumph. It's so playful and limber. It's Matt and Eddie writing a Bruce Springsteen/Dire Straits song
No way in hell Eddie is pulling this off in concert unless it's one of the first 3 songs. Too many lyrics
You can hear what they were talking about with patterns instead of solos. There's a really nice outro here, but it's not the standard climactic solo

After one listen and one listen only of the album, Johnny Guitar is #1 on my list.
Very unique, lotsa lyrics (like Satan's Bed in a way), and just plain rock and rolls. tough to pin down musically -- kinda Elvis Costello, kinda Springsteen, kinda PJ -- but that's a horrible description and doesn't do it justice.
