Alot is going on in Backspacer that is very good.
I have to give my props to Jeff though. He has always done good things in this band but his work on this album is absolutly top notch. His decisions have been perfect. When to follow matt, when to follow stone, when to do his own thing and his range of dynamics.
Mr. Ament i thank you for stepping out and having a foothold after a couple albums of being in the shadows.

Are we really going to have seperate threads for each band member on this one?

Brendan O'Brien really does bring the best out of Jeff in a studio. Plus, great job by him writing the music to Got Some, my favorite track off the album.
