This story has gotten absolutely no press, even around here where it happened, which is odd considering when a 6 year old brings a gun to school, or a couple kids make "bang" "bang" noises, they US media is up in arms about it.
Anyways the article is a little vague, but from the local newspaper (which i cant find a source for online) i guess these kids had a detailed plan to carry out a Columbine-esque raid on their school, complete with taking over the principals office and gunning down all inside, and calling their enemies into the office to be executed. They had been planning it for over a year and had intended to carry out their plan on April 20th (Hitlers birthday). To boot the little tool's walked around asking people if they were their friends, and if they answered "yes" they would reply with "good, then you won't be killed"
BOO FUCKING HOO...cry me a river you pathetic little babies. "Nobody likes me, im gonna kill everybody then they'll understand me". You know not everybody has the time of their life in high school. I'm pretty sure my life at the time probably wasn't much different than yours, and yet i managed to make it all the way through without so much as a single murder.
Teens out on bail after school threat WebPosted Mar 17 2005 11:02 AM AST CBC News
SAINT JOHN — Two teenagers are free on bail after Saint John police stopped an alleged plan to attack Saint John High.
Police say the plot was uncovered after two students went to the school's principal with information about the threat.
A 16-year-old Saint John High student and a 17-year-old Harbourview High student face charges of possession of an explosive substance.
A third student has been released and will appear in court at a later date.
Police say the students had what appeared to be gunpowder and a lead pipe in their possession. They also found lists of people and things the teens hated. Police allege the students planned their attack for April 20.
Provincial Court Judge Alfred Brien imposed strict conditions on both teens before their release.
The teens can have no contact with each other or with three other young people who have been mentioned in connection with the plot.
Other conditions include house arrest under parental supervision and a ban on either youth approaching Saint John High, Harbourview High or St. Malachy's High.
Both teens will be back in court on April 4 when a trial date will be set.

This happens a hell of a lot more than people know or care to think, it's just that most kids either don't carry it out, or get caught like these guys did.

At least they didn't write a short story about zombies.

Wow, with its stiff gun control laws, I didn't think something like this could or would ever happen in Canada. Somewhere, off in a distance, Michael Moore is crying.
