I couldn't believe it when I saw they played it in Utah. Probably right now it's the song I most want to hear live. Why Utah--do you think they did it there as some kind of comment to the mormons? Think we'll get it again this tour??

Because we are all Religions and Righteous here in Utah.
At the start of the song eddie said, "Oh and this next song has the word Satan in it."

Because they felt like playing it that night. They'll play it again at some point.

Sorry. It sounds really idiotic when you put it that way. But he DOES often play songs because of some connection, personal or political or lyrical, with the place he's playing in, and that was the only thing I could think of. It's just been so long since they played it, and they haven't since.

I was being funny, and the fact that Utah is LDS capital of the world.

The SLC show is fantastic...and religion/spirituality is definitely on Ed's mind throughout.
Marker In The Sand, Given To Fly, Satan’s Bed, the Daughter tag, I Believe In Miracles, maybe even The Fixer...the "say your prayers" line.
Love how he rehashed that joke about Norman's that he used in '98. Corny, but like the Point story he's used twice now in Dublin...it will get a few laughs.
