I'm not sure how many people here are into Lucero, but they are one of my favorite bands.

Their latest CD, 1372 Overton Park, is available for pre-order on their website...and comes with a free download of six songs from the album!

this is a really fun album. i really like track 2 and sixes and sevens

i find c_b's hostility towards this band truly baffling though.

love this band, love this record.
the last album was a departure that felt forced, this is a departure that feels pretty natural (the memphis horns, etc.)

can't wait to see 'em in 2 weeks w/ a horn section!

So far, this is probably my least favorite album by them, but that's by no means a knock on them as they are one of my favorite bands.
