I did a search for this and came up with nothing. Sorry if it is a repost of some sort.
I relistened to a number of the PJ records yesterday (Riot Act, Binaural, Yield). Some of them I hadn't listed to in their entirety for years. Riot Act is an example of that. I wanted to go back, listen to the whole record, kind of "rediscover" it, and rank the songs on the album. I know how I thought I would rank the songs, but when I actually listened to everything again, some songs I liked a lot more then I remember, and some songs I liked a lot less. Here is my new ranking of the songs of RIOT ACT.

I will be doing similar threads for Binaural and Yield for sure, and maybe for each of the albums. I found this a pretty enjoyable exercise.

Five amazing songs, as good as Pearl Jam can get. The problem with this record is that is covered with filler.
6. Can't Keep 7. 1/2 Full 8. Ghost 9. Help, Help 10.Green Disease These ones are very solid. Notable are 1/2 Full and Help, Help in the fact that they are infinitely better live.
11. Thumbing My Way 12. Cropduster 13. Arc 14. Bushleaguer 15. Get Right
Ranges from mediocre to downright embarrassing. A mixed bag for sure, but because of the top 5, still in the upper tier of PJ albums for me.

they're not great. It's a pretty good song but a terrific last verse and outro really push it up there for me

If Bushleaguer was less spoken word, more singing it might be number 2. I love the outro on it when played live.
