I call it "slide noise". Steel strings that produce a lot of it, nylon/flatwound strings are much quieter in that aspect.

How so? A chord is made up of 2 or more notes, not really hard to mess that one up.
Nope. A chord is made of at least 3 notes. The basic/normal chord is composed the fundamental, 3rd and 5th.
