 Post subject: acoustic guitar, is there a term for this

when someone is playing acoustic guitar and they change chords there's always that scrapy metal sound from the fingers I guess

does this have a name?

I call it "slide noise". Steel strings that produce a lot of it, nylon/flatwound strings are much quieter in that aspect.

Nope. A chord is made of at least 3 notes. The basic/normal chord is composed the fundamental, 3rd and 5th.
