Great cast, great title, fun trailer. I expect a lot from it.

I may be crazy, but I'm pretty sure I saw a story on the news a few months ago about the military program this movie is based on...

The whole premise was terrible.

Another "Omg free yourself get out of your cubicle" movie? Really? The ending was just a string of bad plot devices. The thing was, this movie was funny and it made me laugh really hard, but the humor is mostly topical in nature and overtly political in the worst way (think: anti-Bush, Abu Ghirab elements). I dunno, I think at the base level the story was a good idea--secret government project to develop psychic soldiers--but the introduction of the newspaper writer kind of killed it for me. Not worth the 9.50 I paid for it, and I don't think I'd recommend seeing it even if it was free. You'll laugh, but it's not enough to save the movie from leaving you empty.

It would have been great if he had hit the wall.

Overall not a blockbuster, but watching it wasn't a waste of a Tuesday evening.

Watched this last night too and was pretty disappointed. It was going along fine, then it was like the whole ending once the chopper finds them was just thrown onscreen. Very dissatisfying. Pretty forgettable movie that I was looking forward to seeing.

I did expect more out of it, that's very true. I think I'm the type that can sit thru the worst of documentaries and always find something redeeming.

It's very light-weight, that's for certain. It was fun to watch Clooney, Spacey and Bridges, but yeah ... there's not a lot in this movie that stays with you once the credits roll.

Yeah, not a lot stays with you after seeing this. A lot of good parts, and an interesting concept, but they didn't make shit with 'em.
