Given the recent painting threads, I just wanted to start one for an English artist that I've been a fan of for a little while.

Stephen Wiltshire is an autistic artist who has the uncanny ability to draw insanely detailed cityscapes... from memory. He's received accolades and awards in England and he travels the world, taking tours of cities, then recreating what his brain has memorized. He's brilliant, but limited, and his drawings are incredible.

I saw a documentary about this guy when he was a kid... years and years ago now. I was impressed back then; glad to see he's transcended the 'child prodigy' thing and is still working...

impressive, very detail oriented to say the least. my favorite shot is the last one because it shows the sheer scale he can work at.

Saw thats same documentary..he's an incredible talent. Glad to know he's still around.
