The "out single file, 9 in a row" line always seemed like a reference to Roskilde. I always took it to be about death and redemption. "I wanted to get right with it, with you" makes me picture someone asking for forgiveness from another person or a deity.

Maybe it's jeff tone, the bassline is very articulated, it would be benefit from a snappier tone.

I'll post this just so you can all bash me. I've said it before, I'll say it again. This song is one of the most underrated songs in the inventory. Sure, the vocals are a little rough, but I think the song is great.
