It's friday, I want it to fly by - please humour me.

So what is the most you've ever spent on one single sporting event?

I once spent 200.00 (scalper of course) on a hockey game (Habs-Penguins)...my team lost :( But the female Montreal hockey fans at the game made up for the lost :luv:

I think I paid $400 for a ticket to Game 4 of the 2007 World Series, Rockies vs. Red Sox. My Rockies lost, but my Dad and I figured there may only be one chance to see our team in the WS and we sure as hell weren't going to miss it.

Great experience.

(And, realistically, you could qualify the amount spent as more than just the cost of the ticket, since I also flew from Phx>Den for the weekend)

$120 per ticket

I'm not big on spending tons of money for tickets, although I could see myself shelling out between $500-1000 for a ticket to see the Texans in the playoffs.

$70 for a Flyers game last year. It was my first pro hockey game, and even though it was fun, it'll most likely be my last.

just standard tickets for the pens, anywhere from the 40-60 range + 10 for parking and then another 20 for beer, coke, nachos and a soft pretzel

How much MORE would you pay for a ticket to a huge game if you KNEW your team was going to win. 5x? 10x?

The worst is shelling out for a huge game just to see your team flop. A buddy of mine dropped $200 to see the Seahawks crap out a 27-3 loss earlier this month. What a waste.

So if you KNEW your team would win, would you drop way more $ on the ticket?

OK that's a stupid question but I'm hitting the "Submit" button anyway.
