It's friday, I want it to fly by - please humour me.
So what is the most you've ever spent on one single sporting event?
I once spent 200.00 (scalper of course) on a hockey game (Habs-Penguins)...my team lost But the female Montreal hockey fans at the game made up for the lost

I think it was about 500 of your english pounds. and lucky to have spent that much eally. should have ben a lot more if it wasnt for some random bloke who saved us from throwing money away!
it was the Champions league final...THAT final. Istanbul.
Tickets-£150 Travel-£200 Beer-£150 End result-a 3-3 draw and we win on penatlies-priceless........

I think I paid $400 for a ticket to Game 4 of the 2007 World Series, Rockies vs. Red Sox. My Rockies lost, but my Dad and I figured there may only be one chance to see our team in the WS and we sure as hell weren't going to miss it.
Great experience.
(And, realistically, you could qualify the amount spent as more than just the cost of the ticket, since I also flew from Phx>Den for the weekend)

$120 per ticket
I'm not big on spending tons of money for tickets, although I could see myself shelling out between $500-1000 for a ticket to see the Texans in the playoffs.

How much MORE would you pay for a ticket to a huge game if you KNEW your team was going to win. 5x? 10x?
The worst is shelling out for a huge game just to see your team flop. A buddy of mine dropped $200 to see the Seahawks crap out a 27-3 loss earlier this month. What a waste.
So if you KNEW your team would win, would you drop way more $ on the ticket?
OK that's a stupid question but I'm hitting the "Submit" button anyway.
