I think I have it. I have really pushed my body the last week on this trip and yesterday morning I started coughing. By last night, I had full blown cold sweats and didn't sleep a wink. I am coughing mucus though I don't think I have a fever. I've never had the flu before and haven't been in sick in a year.
I'm supposed to fly back to San Diego later today. Do I go? Won't the person next to me want to kill me for coughing the whole flight? I thought I could take cough medicine but they say you shouldn't take that when you cough up mucus.
I feel like shit, team. What do I do?

My boss mentioned something about gurgling and salt yesterday, i believe it had something to do with the swine flu but i was spacing out during the meeting.
probably just a herpes flare up...coat your entire face with aloe and lay flat on your back for 3 hours...if you don't improve, or conditions worsen, pm me

Well. If you are coughing a lot, getting on the plane is probably the wrong thing to do. Bear in mind this is no more dangerous then the seasonal flu...
Mucus with a hard enough cough can also be a sign of bronchitis.
In your shoes I'd probably load up on medicine, make the trip, and expect to be miserable for the rest of the week.
Good luck, Matt. Always, always cough into your sleeve, btw.

I was recognizing that it is a bad idea. But then throw Luke in the mix, sleeping in the comfort of your own bed, and mom to bring by soup, and going home sounds worth it. I stand by the second underlined statement.

That's so funny. Those are the exact three reasons I want to get home. I already called my mom and told her to get the chicken soup ready.
