The trackpad works 100% fine for movement but both the left and right mouse buttons don't work anymore after slowly getting more difficult over the last few months. This is a brand new machine. I can push down on the bottom right and bottom left parts of the pad but it just does nothing.

Any advice gang? Using a USB mouse right now and not happy about it.

You mean the button you click right in front of the track pad?

Sadly, I knew there was a 0% chance I'd get a real reply when I saw that user thodoks was the first reply but I figured I'd click on it anyway so that the "new message" button went away.

Chud: No, the trackpad on my Apple has the buttons "in" it.

Sounds different to mine, but mine is three years old.

I have no idea, but my macbook pro is falling apart. My cd drive doesn't work at all anymore (when I first got it I burned like 200 CDs in the first weekend) and in Philly I spilt some tea on it by accident and now half my keys don't work on the keyboard, so I had to plug in a USB keyboard. Soon, I'll be purchasing a new PC.

This thread has a perfect view/post ratio.

How long will that last?

For me, perfect is somewhere between 30% and 50%. I like it when there's a decent amount of replies but a shit load of views. Makes me feel like I have an audience.

I agree. I was not using the word perfect the way you were using it in your previous post.

I'm actually ok with a low post/view as long as the view is very high.

How can the word "perfect" be used differently? It's a pretty cut and dry word.

I'm being perfectly honest when I say this: if I knew what was wrong, I'd have given you a helpful answer. But I don't.
