Getting behind on bills is a drag. I've been reading by candlelight and I've almost exhausted my supply of granola, sardines, crackers, bread and Craisins. Things should be looking up around the 15th, team. I'm going to eat this orange from a tree a few streets over right now.

I feel your pain on this one. Is it cold enough there that you need heat? Get a long extension cord and sneak over to your neighbors' and run a line to your place!

Nah, I don't want to burden anyone. She's not home right now anyway. It's not too cold right now, but i am wearing a hoodie and wind pants. I love long socks.

Do you have no credit cards or are they all maxed out?
The last thing in the world I need is a credit card. I've heard they give you all types of trouble.

How come you can't live on your salary?
My rent is $525 a month and my electricity runs between 50-90 dollars. I make around $925 a month, which leaves me with about $75 a week after bills and rent. Normally, that's fine but this time around I went a little crazy two weekends in a row and now I can't make the electricity payment. I'm covered on November's rent though.

internet connection?
Requires electricity! Unless he's on someone else's wireless, using a laptop that is going to soon have no battery power...
Yeah, i'm using a free wireless connection floating around here somewhere.
And how are you charging your laptop?
I'm not. I'm just waiting until the battery dies right now. Give me a break, i have no electricity and I'm bored as hell. I figured Sunday night I could budget a little laptop time. It's been a long weekend, Matt.
Also you haven't answered my budget/salary question. You live in the fucking garage. You have no dependents. Even at minimum wage you should have enough money to eat food and charge laptops.

This sounds like an answer to your question, Matt.

Man I miss so many posts.
You pay $525 to live in the garage? You live in the garage, right?
Reid, you're not in school, are you? How on earth are you only making $925 a month. I thought you were a teacher. You live well below the poverty line.
