Anyone else been watching it? I don't watch many medical shows, but this one is pretty engrossing. I have a feeling it won't be able to stay interesting with it's generic set-up ( very sick patient comes in, several diagnosis' are incorrect before finally Dr. House saves the day with an obscure discovery; personal struggles of the doctors occur on the side). I hope they find a way to mix it up a bit more. I think the writing has been getting better (especially last episode with the parallels between the Aussie dosctor and his father).

I love it. But tonight made me utterly pissed at the Who. Are they trying for a record at how much one can sell themselves??? They have a long way to go to catch up to the Beatles but they are trying pretty damn hard >_<

Yeah, I flipped by just as he was "air-keyboarding" to Baba O'Reilly. Whenever I hear a song I love in a movie, show, or comercial, I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes it's cool when they integrate classic songs into a production (like how they used Baba in Summer of Sam). At the same time Baba O'Reilly has been defiled commercially. It's gotta be one of the most used songs in film and television.
If they didn't record an album called "The Who Sell Out", then I would really be upset.

It's more like whoring themselves at this point

And Nina from 24 was on! Second time a 24 alum has appeared as a patient, the first was the lady who played Teri Bauer in 24 Season one--she played a homeless woman.
I think having the new board director and stuff is cool, you can tell they are trying to keep the generic setup from getting stale. These sideplots are what keep the show interesting, they reveal a little more about the doctors each week.
Also, what was the whole "do you like me" confrontation between House and the girl doctor (I forget her name) about?

Before it started, I assumed it was another crappy effort from the network that brought you "Who Wants to Marry a Gay Chimp?" but I've pretty much heard nothing but good things about House since it premiered. I haven't seen minute one of the show, but I may give it a shot eventually, though I'd prefer to start with the first ep. All hail BT.

Honestly, it's just been getting better and better. Get episodes 13 and 14, they were by far the best. After that, try episodes 9 and 11. You don't miss much backstory, it's pretty easy to pick up who's who. Also, the torrents of more recent episodes will be more well seeded.
I've been working backwards by downloading via BT (I just started watching last week).

I love House, and I agree w/ you that it's been getting better and better. They're still pretty much sticking w/ the formula they started with, but the characters are getting more developed and other things have been thrown into the mix. I think the relationship between Cameron & House will slowly develop (at least I hope), and I could also see them revisiting House's pain pill addiction. Plus, the new chairman of the board is supposed to be around for the next 4 or 5 episodes, so that should provide some wrinkles.

The beatles don't sell themselves. Unfortunately, they, or just Paul and Ringo now, don't own the rights to their songs. I believe their record company and Michael Jackson do. So it is out of the Beatles' hands. It is disgusting that the don't own the rights to their own songs, bu that is the business, or whatever.

I enjoy the show. I wonder where it may go, though. I don't need House hooking up with his mentees and this turning into another soap opera.
I've worried about that, too. It feels like they're going to build a relationship between him & Cameron, but I just hope they take it real slow and make it believeable, not cheesy. Then, maybe it won't be so bad.

Did House used to be dating Cutty? I missed the first few episodes so I may have missed this. If not, I think they should have a relationship between her and House instead of House and Cameron.

I don't remember them ever mentioning that until this past week's episode when the new chairman of the board made a crack to Cuddy about sleeping w/ House in the past. I figured it was just a joke.

House is the first show i've tuned into in the past year or two that shows any promise (besides Arrested Development)...then again i only saw about 1.5 episodes, so i'll have to wait and see.
