Its got about 4 great songs, and then a bunch of songs I could take or leave. Kind of standard for Devy solo project?
BUT let it be said that train fire rules very hard

Yeah I dunno I'm kind of a half fan at this point, but what I have digested rocks. The first 6 tracks here I'd say work pretty well. And I think Ziltoid is a wicked album.

And we’re doing a bunch of festivals, like really good spots at some big festivals in Europe, starting in the summer. One of them is – we got this incredible offer to do a musical. The record I did before this four-record project was called Ziltoid the Omniscient (2007), right, and it’s a kind of a silly, in a way, musical, about this coffee drinking alien. It’s a metaphor for a bunch of things but on the surface it’s this alien puppet. And when I first released it people were just like, ‘what the fuck man, this is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard,’ but it’s been a couple years and people are like, ‘actually, this is like really cool.’ So Finland offered us a substantial chunk of money to do the whole album, with screens and a choir and performers and the whole works. I’m really excited about that. Again, it’s like the ship just keeps floating and I’m just kinda along for the ride a lot of the time.
sounds quite interesting
