Hmmmm, interesting. I see the conference you contended was just as bad as the Missouri Valley a month ago now has just as many teams in the Sweet 16 as the almighty ACC -- the Big Ten. Is this another big, massive conspiracy?

let's see if the lilten can beat any team that isnt a mid-major... then start your talking... please... if you are so blind as to see that they have had a road paved with gold, then ive been giving you way too much credit all along... it's not their fault, because they are beating the team put in front of them, but to act like it proves anything that they can beat bucknell, vermont, and nevada shows that your glasses are a bit foggy... please

Bucknell beat Kansas, a No. 3 seed. Vermont beat Syracuse, a No. 4 seed. Wisconsin and Michigan State took care of business, beat those teams and advanced, something the "superior" teams from the "superior" conferences couldn't do. Yet it's a cakewalk because they had their roads paved for them because the other teams that would lend legitimacy to them advancing shit the bed.
You are so full of excuses it's absolutely ridiculous. And you backtrack faster than Dick Vitale after a Duke loss. What's next, Magic Johnson and Michigan State weren't that good because of who they played before they beat Indiana State?
For the record, Duke's performance against a 16 seed Delaware State was nothing to write home about, and neither was it's game yesterday. Wake Forest gets beat in the second round (the team you were crying about because it didn't get a No. 1 seed) by a middle-of-the-pack Big East team, and you have an excuse for that as well. I forgot, though, they're immune from criticism because they beat N. Carolina and are in the ACC.

If you ask me, those are bad examples... teams get lucky, play good games and win once in awhile... If Bucknell played Kansas 20 times I bet they'd win 3 or 4 times tops... Bucknell and Vermont are both shitty teams, and them getting beat are not impressive wins... the chance of lightning striking twice and those teams winning two games in a row is maybe 1 in 5 billion
I think the true strength of the ACC is seen in NC State

lesser teams that pull upsets (which is a term you may not be familiar with) end up rolling over in the next round... it happens time and time again... they give it everything they have for one game, but the tank runs dry... every once in a great while a team (uw-mil) finds enough to get to the sweet 16... keep your blinders on and just focus on your lilten... we'll see how this all shakes out...
duke vs. del state? ill vs. fdu?... i think the illini had a tougher time than duke... consider the halftime scores: duke 36-28, illinois 32-21 in their backyard... and before you go saying that duke was in their backyard in charlotte, well, i was there and it was about 80% heel fans... never have i heard a boo as thunderous as when duke walked on the floor after the heels smacked iowa state by 27...
and fuck wake forest as far as im concerned... chris paul is a bitch and im happy he's out of the tourney... but i think credit goes to wvu for the game they played... not like wake completely shit the bed... i was actually quite impressed with the way they battled in the overtimes, but wvu was not to be denied
let's go ahead and breakdown the acc and lilten if you'd like...
acc 8-2
bigten 6-2
acc vs. bcs conferences: 4-2
bigten vs. bcs conferences: 0-2 (ouch)
bigten wins: northern iowa, bucknell, vermont, odu, fdu, nevada
acc wins: uconn, iowa st, charlotte, miss st., g washington, ut-chatt, oakland, del st.
it's not even close... enjoy your fool's gold while you can, i guess

damn me for debating a topic... what a dumbass i must be
ACC gets three teams in the Sweet 16 = without question the best conference in the country.
Big Ten gets three teams in the Sweet 16 = lucky.
Enough said.
didnt the acc manhandle the big ten this year in the challenge?
i'm going to rephrase that for you if you dont mind peeps...
hasnt the acc manhandled the lilten every year since the challenge's inception?... uh, yes, they have... can you really keep calling it a challenge if one conference NEVER wins... maybe they should rename it the acc kicks the lilten's ass series or something more accurate
and no one has won by less than 11... everything is proven come tourney time, and the ACC is proving that it is without question the country's best conference.... and then some

I refer to Davo's post above . . .
Regardless, they are not good examples... I think both are good teams, but to hold them them up because they beat two otherwise shitty ones doesn't make sense to me... the Big 10 hasn't had a 10 seed beat a 2 seed yet, and while I realize they haven't been offered that option, it's what we have to go on here... ACC teams have beaten teams supposedly better than them, and Big 10 teams have not
I'm glad this has all diverted the attention away from the Big 12 though... *hangs head in shame*
