Sometimes, this is the key to solving whatever bad mood you are in. I've been sitting at the computer, trying to enjoy my day off but something didn't feel right. Finally, what had to be done hit me like a ton of bricks.

Don't mind Lenny; he always has all the electricity and art he wants.

The lights are on in that picture, but the brightness of the window pretty much canceled it out. The room is very bright, but that picture looks sort of depressing. :(

Actually, the real no-brainer thing to do would be for me to just go outside and enjoy the day, but I'd rather talk to all of you here on RM. I like you guys, and companionship is what I feel like I need today. Thanks for being you, RM users.

I may go visit Menil Park later today. The day is young. There's no reason I can't do both.

I live right in the middle of Houston. Deep inside the loop, near downtown. For all of it's ugliness, Houston has a lot of hidden gems such as Menil Park and the rest of the Museum District.

Here's the Menil Collection, across the street from the park. It's always free and there are a lot of great paintings in there by Rothko, Warhol, Picasso, Magritte, de Chirico, Rauschenberg, etc. Also, there's a ton of tribal art and other antiquities. It's a really great place. I could walk there from my apartment.

Welp, it's time to either close the windows or put on a sweater.
