This is my first winter spent in this apartment, and there are only window units for the AC. The only other time I've lived in a place with window units, the other guy I was living with owned a space heater and I'm starting to realize that I really took it for granted. It's about 43F outside right now and I'm layered in a sweater and a hoodie. Sleeping tonight is going to be a bitch.
For those regulars in GD that have grown tired of my stories, this has nothing to do with not having money. It's just poor planning. Where can I get a space heater on the cheap?

ACE/Home Depot/Wal-Mart all have pretty cheap ones. I just bought one for 15 bucks at Home Depot.

This reminds me about what I like best about winter. It's when the heat is on and I've just taken a shower. We have forced hot air, and there's a vent in the bathroom. After I dry off and drag a comb across my head, I grab my tooth brush and squat in front of the vent so it drys off my scrotum and anus. It's fantastic... really.

I thought I was the only one that enjoyed this.
