This is going to be awesome.

They usually have good suppport acts at this, and let the main band play as long as they want unlike most festivals. It is more just a big gig in a park than a "real" festival.

Sweet.

So they'd surely be doing other shows in Europe around that month? Hopefully we'll find out their whole tour schedule so we can plan which shows to go to.

(...Not gonna happen).

Just made me change my mind about not planning to attempt to get a ticket for that festival.

Springsteen played for as long as normal at this years Hard Rock Calling, the downside was that he didn't have so many support acts.

from now on, the expression "PEARL JAM SUPPORTING ACT" will always be associated with the name RELENTLESS7.

I was there for 2008 for John Mayer and Eric Clapton. It's a great day, nothing like other festivals at all. Just a great day of music with a brilliant atmosphere

That's good to hear. I'm never going to a festival again.

Commiserations to those of you with Glastonbury tickets.

It's the 6th of December, right? They aren't officially announcing anything for more than a month at best.

That's rather more KOL for me, though KOL wouldn't open for PJ cos of their ridiculous popularity in the UK.

Come anyway. Time for you to come see a show on my turf.

I'm not sure whether that means Sydney or London, but Hyde Park IS a 15 min bus ride away. :D
