First of all thanks so much to LowLight, Coach, Solat319, rafa_garcia, Doone, Hatfield and others for all the great feedback on the first mix I posted. It was my first time in this forum, and you guys welcomed the new kid nicely - i appreciate it.
So with the weather here on the east coast pretty dismal today, I sat down and knocked out a compilation for the Aussie shows...Again, just trying to put something together that flows and catches some special moments. I've found that over the years, this helps to save enormous space on my ipods/iphone as I just have these lists on there and not 1,241,832 pearl jam shows.
Anyway, calling this one "A Beacon On Dry Land - Oceania 2009" - please give it a listen and let me know what you guys think - I just listened back to it and think it works very nicely...
...and yes, TREMOR CHRIST is on it. I'm on team Tremor Christ - I swear!
set - Release, Breakerfall, Corduroy, Got Some, Brother, Untitled/MFC, Unthought Known, Tremor Christ, Even Flow, Pilate, Force of Nature, Present Tense, Whipping, Mankind, If You Want Blood, Blood
encore 1 - The Needle And The Damage Done, Throw Your Arms Around Me (with Liam Finn), In Hiding, Not For You, Daughter, Rats, Not Given Lightly (with Neil & Liam Finn), Better Be Home Soon (with Neil & Liam Finn), I Got You (with Neil & Liam Finn), Porch
encore 2 - Just Breathe, Indifference (with Ben Harper), Gonna See My Friend, The Fixer, Love Reign O'er Me, Deep, Smile, Why Go, Free World, Yellow Ledbetter

I downloaded this expecting the worst (not from your mix, but from Ed's performance) and I was a little bit amazed that he seems to actually be improving. Furthermore, these mixes sound way better than the past couple bootleg runs.
Thanks. I appreciate your efforts in these mixes! This is good for some at-work music. I'll have to check out your other one.
Thanks for the comp, for some reason when i play this on my i-pod it is very loud and distorted. Do i need to make come kind of adjustment? It sounds fine on my computer. Any suggestions?
I'm really glad so many people are enjoying them - I've given to some passive fans and they've been really impressed by the band and I think we have some new fans.
I have these mixes for the 2006 shows as well if anyone would like me to post and there is interest. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to redo my 2008 as I lost all those boots when my computer crashed and since they aren't traded yet - I can't justify a rebuy...(although, if anyone can help me out I would be appreciated - I think I've proven I buy the boots )....
Thanks again for listening and really glad you guys are enjoying this awesome time for the band.

Thanks Mr Man, fun mixes indeed.
I have to say that I love Not For You as a song generally, but that Brisbane version is one of my favourites ever. And same goes for Melbourne's Porch - great great version (and I know what a big call that is for a song with many great great versions).
I actually don't mind the older, smoother PJ, as compared to the younger, brasher angrier PJ. Matt Cameron's drums really shone for me this tour.
