Why the fuck isn't the Ten Club releasing this? Why thru Wolfgang's Vault? Was/ is the Fox Theater a Bill Graham venue?

I think it's incomplete and cut-up anyway.

It's probably just taken from the Dissident single.

Nah, it's got the covers and Vitalogy songs but other stuff is missing.

For those only just hearing this show, I'd suggest getting hold of a copy of the FULL concert.

This is missing;

Go
Animal
Garden
SOLAT
Black
Alive
Blood
WMA
Betterman

That's like the best part (well except maybe for Betterman although that Betterman has the line "this is dedicated to the bastard that married my momma!" So, I guess it's still cool :D)

When I saw that on the PJ boards, I immediately assumed that they got one of the 3-CD radio promo sets but it was missing disc two. (If you split the show into three discs, what's missing is pretty much exactly what you'd expect to be disc two.)

I assume WV figured out a way to get streaming rights, since the original broadcast was allowed to "whoever wants it". That's why in a few cities, several stations aired it. (Or, they may have just gotten streaming permission from PJ.)

But the Fox is/was definitely not Billy Graham. The show itself was promoted by Cellar Door.

WV usually has the masters without any special mixing/mastering. According to them this show is from Bill Graham's vault.

Which is why I asked if he owned the Fox. He's notorious for having tons of shows in the archives and most, if not all, of those shows are up to him ( or his estate now I guess) to release since most of those bands signed waivers giving him those rights. If he didn't own the Fox, how did he get the tapes? From the airwaves like most of us did at the time?

That's what I'm guessing. I checked out part of it yesterday, and the "Encore" track had the "radio program" soundbites that the original broadcast had.

Well, if that's the case, then any of us that taped it back then can offer releases of it.
