AM I ? seriously.

I just don't get it. scoring is so easy & there are never any great plays. (don't tell me dunks, cuz they are ALL FUCKING 6'6")
and the 1/2 court prayers are just shit luck, no skill involved.
I tried to watch some NCAA this weekend & i thought about killing myself for a little while.

GO Red Sox !

baseball is gay also. grown men wearing tight pants, grabbing on their balls, and slapping each other on the ass(and in the case of the red soxs: hugging each other)

I'm not even that big of a basketball fan but i have no problem saying it is the most athletic of any professional sports besides maybe hockey.

I have never liked baseball. I used to get dragged to my brother's little league games and was bored out of my skull. Can't stand it nor golf on t.v., bores me to death.

PS: I stopped watching basketball when Michael Jordan stopped wearing the #23 for the Bulls.

when i think of endurance i think more of boxing. hockey players are out for one minute/2 minute shifts. I guess "skill" would be a better word for hockey players. One-timers, stopping on a dime while flying down the ice, perfect passes that are overlooked, goalies doing splits to make a save.

Well, it is...

Regardless of your personal preference of the game, you can't discount some of the amazing things that have happened during the courses of various basketball games over the years... you can hate the game... that's fine... but any analysis of yours after that point is simply ignorance, as you said yourself you can't/don't watch basketball

Ty Cobb once said little league baseball was the purest form of the game... methinks Ty Cobb slid a little too hard into homeplate a little too often

trust me when i say this, that one or two minutes a hockey player is out there is like running a mile as fast as you can. the sheer power of the legs that it takes to skate back and forth is amazing. just try it on roller blades and youll see. it amazes me more hockey players dont have back injuries due to the strain skating causes.

im not saying hockey players arent athletic, they are, it just takes a high end of endurance to play, and hand eye coordination at its finest

I'm not gonna argue with you, they sure as hell have a lot of endurance. I just think throwing punches for 3 rounds, getting hit in the stomach with the guys hardest punch for 12 rounds and just fighting in general is more enduring. You ever get in a fight? They usually last at the most about 5 mintues. Imagine doing it for 36 with the punches being harder and more accuarate

First learn how to spell things properly, then talk to me about basketball.

I love Basketball. I took a break from it for a few years, but I am back as a fan.

I'd rather watch a boring, low scoring Basketball game, that fishing, bowling, golf, or billards. Anyday.

have you ever played organized basketball against good competition?

if you have you know it isn't easy to score.
