Jimmy Fallon is a bad ass. He has came up like all the good comics in the business by doing stand-up in clubs at a very young age. Adam Sandler has known Jimmy since he was 19 and Sandler has always been a big fan. Fallon is legit and I think he has found a home at Late Night.

I don't watch it on a regular basis but Fallon is coming into his own on his show. He's actually decent.

How is Jimmy Fallon a decent comic? He can't even read a joke off a teleprompter without screwing it up or laughing. And his interview skills are terrible. The only thing his late night show is good for is the musical collaborations between the Roots and the other guests.

This is true.
Back in the in the good ole days of SNL, cracking up during a sketch was frowned upon by Lorne and Co. Fallon would never have made it.
Now, cracking up once and a while -- even that might be acceptable, and even funny for the audience (e.g., The Blue Oyster Cult sketch w/ Walken: I forgive everyone on that set for not being able to keep a straight face with the hilarity betw. Ferrell and Walken). However, Fallon did this on a fairly regular basis (and was one of the worst Weekend Update hosts, if not THE worst). Once and a while it's cute; every week it's poor craftsmanship and robs the audience of the comedic illusion the rest of the cast is trying to create.
Anyway, I agree with the above.
