I guess it's about time this got its own thread.

http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.ph ... 4&id=57977

Was it just me, or was there a titty shot in there?

And my initial reaction is meh. Not enough to see yet.

Quote:
By way of context, “Caprica” is set 51 years before the events of “Battlestar Galactica.” According to a March press release from Sci Fi, “'Caprica' follows two rival families – the Greystones and the Adamas – as they grow, compete, and thrive in the vibrant world of the 12 Colonies. Enmeshed in the burgeoning technology of artificial intelligence and robotics that will eventually lead to the creation of the Cylons, the two houses go toe-to-toe.”

Does anyone know why this isn't airing on SyFy and then released on DVD ala Razor? Is this a bad sign for the series?

I totally wasn't either....nice!

The pilot is very interesting. I like how its quite different from battlestar yet has just enough so you feel its the same universe and stuff.

I look forward to the series

I watched the first 10 minutes about a month ago but haven't finished this thing. Not in a rush.

Yeah. Should have no impact. Looks dangerously like it could become a scifi soap opera....

Is it a rule that only one of them can be a Star Trek show? Can I count TV movies based on shows (like, for example, MacGuyver: Trail to Doomsday)? Does Joey count as 5 all by itself? Is current Scrubs a spinoff of the original? Does anybody actually consider Joanie Loves Chachi a show? What if nobody admits to remembering it, like AfterMASH or The Tortellis?

So many questions.
