These guys are radio legends. Does anybody else here listen to Bob and Tom?

Radio should be local.

My mom used to listen to them all the time. There are a few pretty funny moments, but I always laughed hardest at the comedian interviews. Why are their conversations always funnier than their standup?

Mike Brubiglia (sp?) had that, uh, diary or something that made me laugh.

I listen to public radio 90% of the time that I listen to radio, but the few times that I've listened to Bob and Tom, I haven't been very impressed. These guys are so loud and obnoxious. It really gets under my skin the way that they laugh and laugh on the air. It's like, why do I want to listen to that?

Once you get past all of that, it's actually very funny.

i dont listen very often. i agree with the above comment that the interviews are usually better than the other stuff. i think it can count as close to local since they have a song about the big butter jesus.

man, i feel exactly the same way. it's just non-stop laughing at their own stupid shit. i don't know how this amateur hour got to be nationally syndicated.

Not in Dallas. The Ticket is all kinds of greatness.

I stop trying to make sense of the behavior of the mass public after the '04 election.

And canned laughter is usually associated with bad television, but it seems that morning shows don't follow that trend.
