put in a dvd and open dvd decrypter and it will show you a directory where it will rip it by default...

chances are what you just ripped are basically in the same spot, just as a different file name (whatever the dvd was)

Thanks, I have that app. It worked well for a while, but it doesn't seem to work on a lot of the newer encryptions. At least for me anyway. I'm running 10.2.8

How about MacTheRipper. I haven't come across anything that DVDBackup couldn't handle, so I haven't tried it.

I decided to wipe DVDbackup off my h-drive and re-download it, and it worked. Either I screwed the 1st version up somehow, or it was updated. Go figure. Thanks for the advice though. You and Angela always seem to have the Mac answers. :)

Does anyone know if there is a DVDShrink program for Mac? I've got a Mac Mini on order and I'm trying to find all the necessary "backup" software possible for dvds.
Thanks in advance
MD

I use DVD2oneX and have no problems. I've heard Roxio's Popcorn works well too, though I haven't tried it.

Thanks Knight Rider! Did you buy the full version or are you using the free trial version? (ex. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11518 )
Do you know of a crack?
MD

I have an older version (1.2) of dvd2oneX with a serial number that I found on a file sharing site. It's been I while since I downloaded it and I don't remember where I got it from. Unfortunately I don't have the serial number saved anywhere. I'm sure you can find it if you look around a little.
