Has anyone watched this week? There are 5 12-minute episodes in season 2 and they're on each night this week at 7 on Cartoon Network.

The first season was great and is now out on DVD. I'm a big Samurai Jack fan so I dig this type of animation. I highly recommend the series if you haven't already seen it.

You can download the episodes from Monday thru Wednesday at starwars.com, (or check out millenniumfalcon.com for torrents).

I bought the first season on a whim yesterday, (along with the two Ewok adventure movies), and I thought it was pretty damn impressive. I would love to see it as a weekly show, and the animation is very well done. It is well worth the money, and watching all twenty episode in a row is like watching a mini movie. I'm going to catch season two on saturday night, where they will show all 5 episodes back to back.

I never got around to watching the 3 minute quickies back when they were first on, so I was glad to see them out on DVD. Really impressive stuff, especially the underwater scenes. And the colors are amazing on this show.

I like the Clone Wars cartoons better than the prequel movies. The cartoons capture the giddy, childish excitement that I had for the original trilogy as a kid. These cartoon shorts have more style in one frame than TPM and AOTC combined. I am way more entertained seeing the jedi doing all sorts of ass-kicking via pen and ink than anything we've been given in the new flicks.

My favorite episode is the one where Obi-Wan fights all those crazy monsters gladiator style. Damn good fun. It makes me wanna check out Samurai Jack; is it good?

Yes, it's excellent. Same animation; obviously about a samurai, but a samurai trapped in the future. Check a couple eps out if you get a chance.

The last 2 episodes have been awesome. I guess the last episode of Clone Wars is where the movie starts. Cool stuff.

I didn't buy them for their artistic value. And how else are you going to see the Quaker Oats guy and Ewoks in the same setting?

It probably ends with Obi and Anakin being called back to Coruscant to rescue the chancellor.

I picked up the DVD and watched it last night,.talk about awesome stuff. I imagine it might have been weird watching it as three minute shorts, but as one hour-long movie it had me into it from beginning to end. I set the TIVO to pick up the latest five tomorrow night as they'll be running them back-to-back in succession. Can't wait.
