Well I finaly did it. After years of 10c pre sales I made a mistake. Some how in the confusion of buying tickets while playing power rangers with my sone I purchased tickets to Columbus and I meant to get Knoblesville. Has anyone dealt with exchanges with the 10c? I know it states all sales final and no returns or exchanges, but I am hoping they are flexable. Any advice? I canlled as soon as i recongnized the mistake and they told me to e mail the ticket@tenclub.com address. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks

Don't lose your cool when talking to them. I've found that the old addage "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" is especially true when dealing with the ten club.

Thanks. Sorry about the double post. I was calm and polite when I called. more nervouse than anything. Hope to hear an answer before pre sale is done. Not sure if I should but an extra pair now for the Indiana show and hope they cancel the columbus purchase.

If I were you I'd go ahead and buy for the show you actually want to go to and try to negotiate a cancelation of the other one. I mean, they know that they'll be able to resell your tickets.

they are extremely inflexible these days with ticket exchange/refund (even with people having emergencies) but you contacted them straight away and explained it was a mistake, you might get lucky.

Thanks for the advice guys and gals I am gonna give it some time for them to reply today and if I hear nothing I am gonna buy the Indy tix. I hope they work with me and if not i will be going to both shows, what a shame......

"Thank you for contacting us regarding your mistake. Under normal circumstances we would try to help you out and find a solution. However, your alliegance to the Detroit Red Wings means that not only will you keep the tickets you have, we will now charge you double.
Ha. That would be my luck. I would at least appreciate that answer. Just saying "nope, can't do it" to avoid everyone trying to dump tickets on them will suck. I was the idiot that had to be the blue power ranger as I purchased the seats so I will live witht he mistake if I have to.

For those of you going to this show that haven't been to Columbus before it's in a GREAT area....tons of stuff within walking distance to see, do and eat.
Interesting. I have heard about them letting fan club members exchange tickets to each other. I wonder if this guy is in the 10c. I am sure they want to make sure they dont have to resell tickets or lose money. Thanks.

Well looks like the kill'em with kindness approach worked. A couple of nice apologetic emails later I was allowed to cancel the Columbus show and add the Indy show. Then made no mistakes in nabbing boston 1 tix....see ya there

Good to hear. They can be great at times. I had a similar situation this past September. My husband and I purchased tickets to LA 1 & 2, but my grandfather passed away (in Oregon) and his funeral was on night 1. They were happy to reissue the tickets to someone else. They aren't always so bad.
