I didn't think there was any software for converting those AAC/ M4P files yet. I'd love to get my hands on something so my girlfriends mp3 player can play my AAC files. It's one of those rio karma deals.

Don't count on AAC support for any mp3 player other than an iPod.

I've got an Ipod, and it kicks ass. My sweetie's shit outta luck though.
This will 'unlock' the .mp4 files by contacting iTunes permissions and then permenantly unlock them. The program will also decode the files to mp3 in one fell swoop.

Unfortunately, he says that program doesn't work now. You need iTunes 4.7.1 to use iTMS, and JHymn is acting like 4.6 Supposedly DVD Jon (the guy who broke the encryption on commercial dvds) came out with a program called PyMusique that allows you to buy music from iTunes and strips off the DRM before its added. I haven't tried it yet.

True, but I have heard that the most recent update is that iTunes has patched the exploit that PyMusique works off of. He re-cracked it, but supposedly only wrote the program for linux OS... no windows solution yet...
