I guess it's evidence that I'd never read Iron Man comics (or any comics for that matter) that I don't get what the big deal is of showing "the suitcase" in the trailer.

This looks awesome, I love the brief case iron man. Robert Downey Jr. has been really knocking them out of the park recently.

I know but still ... I am pretty much the type that will watch like the 1 min teaser and that is it, if I can avoid it. For anything.

i love the part where you see (lack of a better term) a baled up armor and he sticks his hands in it and he suits up (im guessing thats probably whats in the suitcase)

for those not in the know, way back in the comics he used to care the armor around in a briefcase and would just slip it on

You never hear stories about him head butting a director (Bill Murray) threatening to beat the shit out of a crew member (Christian Bale) or in general being a complete sociopath (Tom Sizemore). Judging from his interviews he seems pretty down to earth and humble these days which sucks because riding around with a bunch of cocaine and hookers made for some interesting reading.

I don't really understand the big push for this all of a sudden anyways. I mean this isn't exactly new technology, we've had 3-D movies for decades. Is it only new to be able to retro-fit a movie in 3D? Because otherwise it seems like Hollywood decided completely arbitrarily to make 3D the craze now.

Jesus she's so sexy it's fucking retarded. It's weird to think, go all the way back to "Ghost World", the two paths taken by Scar Jo and Thora Birch since then (I've always found Birch extremely cute as well but almost has fallen off the map).
