i'm not sure if this belongs in sports or entertainment. i haven't seen the contender, but it doesn't seem entertaining, so i put it here. move it if you like.

anyway, after watching rocky 3 and 4 (if he dies, he dies) on amc (boy, they're getting liberal with the word classic) this weekend and then hearing sly advertise for this show on the radio, i was wondering if he is delusional or something.

did anyone see that conan o-brien where he had the fake arnold face on and he asked him what qualifications he had to be gov. of a state? he answered, people forget that in kindergarten cop i had no previous experience as a teacher, but by the end of the movie i was a super teacher! that's what this shit reminds me of.

LOL. This was the same reaction I had. I think I even saw Rocky 5 on the channel. They've reached a new low.

You're forgetting that Slyvester Stallone single handedly won the Cold War. He defeated the Russians in Afghanistan in Rambo 3. And he beat Drago and changed the hearts of millions of Russians in Rocky IV. If he wants to think that he can box, let him.

Sylvester Stallone is sterile because of his steroid usage over 25 years ago when he was an amateur bodybuilder. That totally sucks for him.

This comes from my "Official 365 Sports Facts-A-Year Calendar"

3/28/77
"In Hollywood, the boxing film Rocky, starring Sylvester Stallone as a down-and-out club fighter offered a chance at the heavyweight title, wins the Academy Award for Best Picture"
